Today, the President of the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital (GSCNC), Diane Tipton, announced the appointment of Lidia Soto-Harmon as the organization’s CEO. Soto-Harmon will lead the non-profit leadership organization for girls, which serves 90,000 members, (including 62,000 girls ages 5-17) in the Greater Washington Region, covering the District of Columbia and 25 counties in Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. She will take on her new role immediately.
