Searching for the Next Women of Distinction

Calling all Women in the Eastern Panhandle Area

The Shenandoah Region is encouraging businesses, organizations and individuals to nominate an outstanding woman for the 2011 Women of Distinction. Women from the Eastern Panhandle, Berkeley, Jefferson and Morgan Counties, West Virginia who have distinguished themselves as leaders and excellent role models for girls are eligible for this prestigious honor. Announcing the 2010 Women of Distinction

What does it take to be a woman of distinction? Rebecca “Becky” Linton, Betty Lou Harmison and Sheila M. Hamilton know the answer. They’ve been named this year’s Women of Distinction. The Women of Distinction program is in its sixth year. The program benefits local Girl Scouts and helps to fund the Girl Scout Gold Award Scholarship fund. A special event is held in honor of the Women of Distinction on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at the Holiday Inn in Martinsburg.
